Other countries could follow.

They are doing it because the deal is way unstable. Not sure if that is mentioned in the video.

Trump isn't the first politician to use tarrifs the way he did. EU did so for very long time in Africa attempting to turn the continent into purely consumerist environment. And to a large extent they have succeeded. Through arbitrary manipulation of new regulations..

Much similar to Malaysia case, after the deal, they still start investigations in different sectors for "violations " and then put tariffs on those industries. 15% turns 30% in no time.

@Miram I don't know, I think the video mentioned something about the deal being really bad.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Miram That is sad about Africa, people are really corrupt. This world would be a lot more richer if we actually wanted people to grow

@SatanBurger It is not really about the deal being bad back then. 15% is not rare in tariffs. But Trump's deals are too inconsistent.

The most factoring part is that after the US court deemed Trump's deal illegitimate, they are now doing investigations to push the line beyond 10%. They want to increase these numbers by claiming that certain industries are violating regulations.

Malaysia best bet is to step out now. EU in the other hand secured better deal and negotiated clauses that protect them from crony trade. They are experts at it after all

I'm not really in favor of Malaysia for a number of reasons.

In some ways they are worse than China to their own people.

So I can't say if this is a good thing or not.

Anything Trump touches though seems to have a reverse Midas touch. It always seems to turn to lead.

She said anything of great relevance within the first 60 seconds of this video and everything she said after that, though factually true in content, serve as nothing but background noise after-the-fact to the 'bottom line' she had already established from the outset of her video. That's where the video should have ended.

My recommendation to anyone watching this video is to watch it for about 2 minutes, then bail. Excellent points were made in reference to Malaysia and I'm sure other nations will follow suit.

I'm not asking you to agree with me, but I am asking you to watch each video yourself first, before you post it for everyone else to watch. When you post a video, you are effectively endorsing it by carrying it on your SW feed. If you haven't watched it first yourself, then you can't endorse something you haven't actually watched. That woman in your video repeated herself at least 3 times, saying exactly the same thing 3 times in a row, sounding like a skipping record on a turntable.

@swirlie I did watch it and it said what the title says, I was very clear.

@SatanBurger
Yes, that is totally correct. The video talks about what the title says and I'm not disputing that at all.

She said anything of great relevance within the first 60 seconds of this video and everything she said after that, though factually true in content, served as nothing but repetitive background noise after-the-fact to the 'bottom line' she had already established from the outset of her video.
