Widen the Strait of Hormuz

Wouldn’t it be simple to have China dig out the land around the strait thereby making the strait vast using use the dirt to build more min islands around Taiwan?

Jot that down on a sheet of toilet paper and it will probably be White House policy tomorrow!

I admire your lateral thinking, but in the era of drone warfare I don't think you could ever make the strait wide enough. The age of oil is coming to an end, thank goodness, and any "solution" must be proportionate.
The world will be fueled by fossil fuels long after your kids are gone god bless them. @SunshineGirl

@jackjjackson Just 20% of the UK's entire energy consumption at the current time is being supplied by fossil fuels (nearly all natural gas). Trump's interventions in Venezueala and Iran this year have provided one of the most compelling arguments yet for reducing use of finite energy resources to zero. Even he couldn't manage to f**k up the wind supply.
I recommend respectfully that you read this report:

and redo your math

@jackjjackson I have a better one for sure, how about stay TF out of the Middle East? Don’t be Israel’s followers? Have better politicians, the list goes on
Of what country are you a citizen please? @WanderingDude
Figures. This clown loves sucking off the US tit. @jackjjackson
No.
Renewable energy and land based trade routes are acceptable.
It’s also not all that difficult to go east through the Suez. @Roundandroundwego
