There could have been so many ways to be diplomatic about things before going to war. Basically Iran came out and said that they elected a new leader and that Trump wasn't going to have any say. They also said they knew they made the right decision because it pisses off quote "the great Satan" 😭

@LordShadowfire I think Trump thought Iran to be an easy target to be honest. Not that I agree with the Iran regime but Trump doesn't seem to get that Iran lives for spite. They call America the great Satan so to them fighting back means more than surrender whether you agree with them or not this is their view. In their minds it's a never surrender type mentality.

Iran has done horrible things to their own citizens, so I've heard.

But at the same time Trump feeling like he can mow people down without realizing that he may have picked on that one person metaphorically who will push back. Trump does not understand his opponent.

This is literally the Prince 101. I have the book so... lol.

So now Trump has bitten off more than he can chew and created an isis resurgence as well as sleeper cells.

So yeah I dunno what he expected.
