Loss of power on the ship may be by internal fault, of course. She is still "young", commissioned in 2017 with an expected service life of 50 years - unusually long for any ship - but that doesn't mean equipment working almost continually can't break down at only eight and a half years' age.

@ArishMell I have seen multiple reports saying it has gone dark but as you pointed out it may just have shut off its signals. I have heard that Iran has attacked the Lincoln. No reports of damage from either side. One nice thing of having Liberals here in Canada is they have let our armed forces degenerate so badly there is no way we can participate in attacking Iran.

They would very likely switch off anything likely to help their enemy, of course, particularly radio traffic.
Your country's internal party-politics are for you to decide, but the UK's Services and their civilian backgound support have been seriously depleted over the last few decades, by governments of both parties.
Though now other countries seem much more reluctant to join the USA in attacking countries without direct provocation. Especially perhaps now that the USA seems disdainful of her allies - except to make money out of them.

I heard the your dear Keir sent British assets to fight Iran in this highly illegal war. the ISA is no better than Hitler. the ISA attacked Iran just as Hitler attacked Poland in 1939. BTW the USA no longer exists. It is now the ISA. Israeli States of America since it is controlled and operated by Israel.
