Do you know me? No you don't! And you do not know my understanding of scripture.

You and I have had a conversation here and there and nowhere have I diluted scripture.

Know where I do I claim anything that is not given to me by God.

Nowhere do I claim all things do not belong to God because all things belong to God.

Time for me to cease having conversations with you.

As usual distorted view.....

Jesus did not teach to beat slaves, Jesus did not even teach to own slaves / there is a difference between slaves and servants. And there is a difference in beating and smiting.
Exodus 20:21

White people and their counterparts who sold and owned slaves distorted scripture, they are even the ones who translated from the original languages and used it justify their actions.

But I know you will utterly disagree, as you are free to do - this is for others.

The eventual promised land was revealed to Abraham from God and it will extend from Euphrates to the Nile.. The OT promised land was not the prophecised fulfillment of Gods promise to Abraham.. It was only a portion of the land promised..

So no the Israel promised land did not extend from The Nile to the rivers of Iraq..

But a future promised land will cover all that land..

Have a read::

(Genesis 15:18-21) "In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: {19} The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, {20} And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, {21} And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites."

The lands included in the above cover the Arabian Peninsular too..

Remember The LORD Jesus and God are One..

Remember The LORD Jesus and God are One..

I agree but is the LORD Jesus the same God worshiped by the High Priest of Jerusalem?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@sree251 Yes and No..

Yes The LORD Jesus is the same God who called Moses out of the wilderness to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt and establish the Old Covenant..

No. The High Priests of Jerusalem was not following God, But a twisted version of God that was based on a mixture of the traditons of men and The word of God..

Palestinians have way more Israelite ancestry than Jews, especially Ashkenazis. So the Zionist argument fails. But that aside, the double standards we have when it comes to religion are so glaringly insane. If a Muslim said that Muslims should control all of Europe, the entire West would lose their minds. But Christians and Jews can talk about how Jews should control all of the Middle East, and that's seen as a fair political opinion.

Of course. The plan was to create a Jewish ethnostate out of land that was already inhabited by millions of non-jewish people. It was a horrific plan that was doomed to lead to apartheid.
I'm not completely against ethnostates, but the circumstances of this ethnostate led to abuses of human rights, which I'm sure the creators of the plan knew would happen.

I don't think ethnocracy was the objective when it all began in 1947; otherwise, the UN vote for the formation of a Jewish state would not have succeeded. There was this paranoia of Jewish persecution stemming from the aftermath of WW2. The Jewish state was a noble solution for providing a safe homeland for a battered people. If you are talking about Theodor Herzl and gang, that is something else. At any rate, the Jewish people have a sick history as recorded in their Hebrew scripture. It began with the Exodus from Egypt. Since then, Jews have been driven out from whichever society they are embedded except the USA.

So "might makes right" then? Is that really the world you want to live in? Do you think life would be better if slavery, genocide, and apartheid were normalized again?

People are not equal. Even within the same society such as America, there are fat cats and starving dogs. The only country where there is concerted effort by the government to mobilize the citizens to participate in the growing of the national economy is China. "No one left behind" is the policy of the Communist Party of China. Apparently, the Scandinavian countries have their own form of socialism that is acceptable to the west. In a dog eat dog capitalist society like the US, all the bad stuff is here. No morals. Everything has a price.

Supremacy is an ideology in that humans have a choice here. We can have a world where everyone is equal before the law, or we can live in a Mad Max world with constant war and suffering. And yes, it's a spectrum, but we can choose which direction to move in.

Can we, as a nation, choose which direction to move? The Constitution says we can. It allows us to support government policies of our choosing. I didn't choose to drive up the national debt but it is still going up. I didn't choose getting sucked into someone else's war but we are now about to start another one.

Zionism wasn't just about reestablishing Israel. It was about "a homeland for the Jewish people."
That's an ethnostate. Jews were allowed to make homes in plenty of countries. What the Zionists wanted is a country that has laws and policies to maintain a Jewish majority, which is an ethnostate.
Personally, I don't want Israel destroyed. But I want the apartheid to end, so I'm considered anti-zionist.

At any rate, the Jewish people have a sick history as recorded in their Hebrew scripture. It began with the Exodus from Egypt. Since then, Jews have been driven out from whichever society they are embedded except the USA.

There's some truth here, but it's more nuanced. Judaism began after Christianity, with the establishment of the rabbi-class and the writing of the Talmud. Jews are descended from Judeans, but most Judeans didn't become Jews. So when we look at the long history of Jews being kicked out of countries, we're talking about Jews, not Judeans. This is important because it means the problem is Judaism.
Even the story of the Judeans being kicked out of Egypt has been debunked by archeologists. It was just mythology.

In a dog eat dog capitalist society like the US, all the bad stuff is here. No morals. Everything has a price

But that's not "just the way things are." That can be changed. It has been changed, as things were way worse in the Gilded Age. And like you mentioned, the Nordic countries have been able to build a more equal society.

I'm not saying we should strive for 100% equality, I don't think that's possible. But everyone should be equal before the law, and nobody should live in poverty. These are goals we can achieve, the entire history of America has been the working-class fighting to make positive change. That's why we have workers' rights.

Jesus is the high priest =

Hebrews 3:1 (NKJV) = "The Son Was Faithful
Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,"

Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV) = "Our Compassionate High Priest
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession."

Hebrews 6:20 (NKJV) ="where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."

Thank you for your input. Hebrews is a treatise of the New Testament written for Jewish Christians who were persecuted, and driven out of Jerusalem by Roman authority that governed the region. The persecution began right after the crucifixion of Jesus whose tragic demise was caused by the sitting Jewish High Priest of Jerusalem who accused Jesus as an insurrectionist.

The situation today is a replay of what went on in the Holy Land when Jesus was killed and his followers were hunted down and massacred. Back then the guy in power was Pontius Pilate representing Rome. Today, it is Donald Trump wielding American military dominance of the Middle East. The guy playing the Jewish High Priest now is Netanyahu. And the poor suckers today playing the roles of persecuted Jewish Christians are the Palestinians. Same situation, different players.

Jesus is affirmed as the High Priest in Hebrews by Jewish authors who followed Jesus and regarded him as their Messiah. This was apostasy to Jewish authority of the day. Judaism was under attacked when Jesus came on the scene. Jesus upended Judaism when he preached that God was for all people and not just for the Jews. No chosen people.
