Trump vows voter ID requirements for the midterms.

Even if he succeeds in wielding federal government power in the supervision and running of state elections, he will not be able to stop regime change in the USA. The results will be the final nail in the coffin for Donald Trump.

"The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators."

By Law? Does Congress have time to make that law that empowers Trump's DOJ storm troopers to swing into action? Knowing Trump, it won't stop him from making the excuse to delay the mid-terms until all the ducks are in a row. This could give him an extra year in the White House. When it come to wrangling a deal, Trump is not averse to think outside the box.
