Have you needed to cut people out of your life because of current politics ?

I was a UK civil servant for two years. I absorbed the principle of political impartiality from that time, including a complete ban on discussing politics in the workplace. We apply this to our home, including discussion of religion. My wife is interested in neither, so really it would just be me restating my strongly held views. If our daughters ask any questions about current affairs, we answer these neutrally and without inserting personal opinion. We ask our extended family members to do likewise. On the whole this has been fairly successful 🤞
