An uncomfortable part that doesn't get talked about much is that it is not just right wingers who own guns and not all vets are right wingers.
What happens when the ICE SF cosplay battalion breaks down the door of a combo vet not in the mood to be bullied and armed.
And if you don't know what you are doing a doorway is the last place you want to be when down range. A nice pretty rectangle to silhouette you and your team mates.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I find that not only does the right pretend that liberals and leftists don't have guns, they have a desperate need to believe that none of us know one end of a gun from the other. This is because far right culture is what I can only term ammosexual. They make their entire personalities revolve around guns, knowing how to use them, loving them, telling imaginary enemies what will happen if they try to take them. If they acknowledged that the rest of us can operate a simple device that even a toddler can use to end a life, I fully believe they would have a massive breakdown.
They go as far as generate AI representations of what they consider typical leftists looking confused at guns in order to keep this myth going.

@LordShadowfire What makes it funny is often they better fit their own stereotype of the left.
Posing with a rifle they have incorrectly modified to "look cool" but instead out themselves as clueless,
Posing wearing a plate carrier they don't even know how to secure properly. IT is kind of a sad joke.
Meanwhile a friend of mine who is a retired paratrooper and ex RCMP ERT team member is a "Nothing to lose but their chains" kind of leftist.
