You’ve spent 50 years claiming that people need to have the right to bear arms to protect against government tyranny.

Yet suddenly, in the wake of the ICE murders, when people carry guns to protect themselves against government tyranny, you suddenly side with the government.

Why?

The left politicizes everything, and then are the biggest hypocrites when the narrative changes.

Ice murders? Are you under the impression that democrats do not have to obey the law?
ANY one who is legally carrying know that with that responsibility also come the burden of avoiding confrontations. It does not mean a deranged lib had the legal right to interfere with law enforcement during an arrest, physically get involved with officers, pushing them away and then brandishing a loaded weapon with several loaded mags. In that very short window LE could only access the threat level as dire and when he did not drop his weapon they dropped him. its that simple. If you dont threaten the police and pull out a gun next to them, they wont shoot you. Libs also do not have the right to use their vehicles to interfere with Law enforcement of push officers out of the way when they are going to be arrested. Stupid people get dead when trying to bully law enforcement.

@Lostwithielle Your major disconnect is that you believe, because of the 2A, you don't have any responsibility for your actions while carrying, when in fact it's the opposite. When law enforcement is present, interfering with them is a felony , not informing them you are carrying a gun and then are seen holding it in your hand, while scuffling with the officers is another felony, if you live.

No Democrat is above the law; no paid Democrat rioter is bulletproof. If you'll notice lib, people who don't confront law enforcement with guns or cars don't get shot. People who do not commit crimes or enter this country illegally do not attract the attention of federal law enforcement. Funny how that works, huh, lib?

@TexChik But here's the thing. Good did not confront law enforcement with a car. Pretti did not confront law enforcement with a gun. Use your eyes and ears and look at the video evidence. And then ask why ICE are being pulled back from Minnesota. Even Trump realises they went too far.

Pretti grabbed his gun? No he didn't. Once he was pepper sprayed, beaten to the ground and then held down by six agents, only then did one agent take his gun FROM THE HOLSTER. What, you think he charged at the officers with a gun, let himself be pepper sprayed and then put the gun back in the holster?
