I haven't heard any denials, but why would they deny it? Seems to me they would use that to try to make their ancestors look better considering the Arab slave trade lasted until the 20th century, all the while laying Aboriginal / indigenous claim to North Africa.

@markinkansas Well, no, but i am just asking why that part of the story is never told? Perhaps too many uncomfortable truths would be revealed. Maybe the reparations demanded by some black activists would need to be paid by Africa? Just a thought.
