@Hatt94 It does not matter. She committed no crime. She was at most fleeing the scene. Fleeing the scene is not the same as resisting arrest. She did not try to use her vehicle as a weapon—the agent placed himself in danger by jumping in the path of her vehicle which was on ice/snow and she did her best (including backing up & turning away from him).
She did absolutely nothing to justify the use of deadly force.
What’s more, from a law enforcement standpoint, that agent did everything wrong and placed himself and others in danger.

@KunsanVeteran if a law enforcement person, is telling me to stop and get out of my vehicle, i would stop and get out. If he wanted me to jump on one leg, i would be hopping, and ask why then.
Fleeing the scene is a guilty move.

@Hatt94 I think the American justice system does still (just about) operate on the assumption of innocent until proven guilty.
I'm very bemused that a country which prides itself on suspicion of all government authority, so eagerly admits tyranny via the backdoor when it is wearing a uniform and carrying a gun.

@KunsanVeteran sure, and risk getting an assault charge at the least.

@Hatt94 no, i am being serious. Did they say she was under arrest? Was she being charged with a crime? Or did they just approach her aggressively demanding certain actions? She doesn’t know what they will do her. I have seen people completely comply with cops and get roughed up. I’m sure she has, too.
Humans have natural “fight or flight” instincts when threatened. Her instinct was to flee.

@trollslayer and made the wrong decision.

@Hatt94 instinct is not a conscious decision.
@trollslayer true. But if you know they are agents, and they tell you to stop. Why flee?
