It's a sad story, Texas woman. By the way, Texas woman, who did you vote for?
@Vin53 And these people like to say, "I’m not political”.
But there comes a time when politics may mean the difference between life and death, because it’s all political.

Since MAGA, folks have been finding this out the hard way. 😞

Its this way because American voters didnt stop it. Going back a generation, American voters showed apathy. And this is what apathy gets. Canada can do it. Australia can do it. Japan can do it..America could do it, if the voters cared enough..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Didn't Obama try to do it but the voters went against it.. It was labelled Obamacare and Trump got rid of it.

@Thevy29 No. Obama went in with a simple plan similar to those operating in other countries. But the "special interests" in the insurance industry, Hospital and medical corporates, big pharma and AMA all lobbied against "socialized medicine" (Really they didnt want the oversight cutting into their price gouging) and by the time it got to a vote it was a Frankensteins monster. Obama said at the time he let it go through because no one else had got anything up. And he figured this could be fixed later..The fact is, if Corporations arent going to make an extra buck, its not happening..The America political system is rotten from the top down..😷
