When he resigns as more of his direct involvement with Jeffrey Epstein becomes unentangled even for those who voted for him, and they are reminded how much hate they held for pedophiles, they will first deny they voted for him (it was someone else), then they will claim he did nothing because he is obviously gay (Putin, Kim Jung Un, Elon Musk, Melania), and then they will blame "the libs" for not warning them of what they were doing.
