Badass mom chases fleeing robbers, rams into them with her Mercedes G-wagon

In a state where politicians lecture citizens to “stand down” while criminals run wild, one Los Angeles-area mother decided she’d had enough.

Just before noon on Saturday, a mother armed with nothing more than a Mercedes-Benz SUV and raw maternal instinct—turned the tables on a burglary crew bold enough to target her family’s home while her children were inside.

According to OC Media, the woman had stepped out briefly to grab coffee. Like many moms, she stayed on the phone with family while out—this time speaking with her own mother, who was home watching her three kids.

That phone call suddenly turned into every parent’s nightmare.

“All of a sudden, her mom started screaming, ‘Help, help, help,’” the woman’s husband, David, told CBS News. “They jumped the front gate, they came to the back to probably break the sliding door to go in, and they faced my mother-in-law, and they ran away.”

Hearing her mother’s screams through the phone, the woman whipped her Mercedes into a U-turn and raced back home. She arrived just in time to see the burglars attempting to flee in their vehicle.

Instead of waiting politely for a police response that might—or might not—arrive in time, she took action.

Video footage shared online shows the moment her Mercedes G-Wagon slams into the burglars’ car, forcing them to abandon it and flee on foot. The suspects escaped temporarily, but their luck ended there.

Police who arrived at the scene found what OC Media described as a goldmine of evidence.

“Officers who arrived at the scene found burglary tools inside the abandoned vehicle, including toolkits, walkie-talkies, forged documents under various names, and several license plates, which led law enforcement to suggest that the attempted robbery may have been part of a series of crimes,” the outlet reported.

“According to neighbors, the same Honda had been seen near another house several days earlier, which had also been targeted by burglars.”

David believes this was no random smash-and-grab. He says the burglars had already disabled the home’s WiFi and Ring surveillance system—hallmarks of organized, experienced thieves. In other words: professionals.
