Vermont School Raises Somali Flag

Winooski School District in Vermont has put up a Somali flag in protest to President Trump and as a message that all Somalis are welcome in the state. I’ve got a suggestion for ICE’s next stop.

At publishing time, Senator Bernie Sanders was seen shinnying up the flagpole at Winooski. From just below the Somali flag, he addressed a small crowd of wide-eyed students that had gathered. "We will never bow to ICE fascism!" he shouted, before losing his grip on the pole and sliding down to the ground. Late word has it that he has been treated at a local hospital for frostbite and skin abrasions, but is expected to make a speedy recovery, according to exclusive sources close to the matter.
