Shouldn't SW Be a Little More Careful as to What Ads Are Displayed in Threads About Jeffrey Epstein? I Mean Like, WTF!!!!!!

Strict privacy browser option you won't even see adds. ...

Yet they likely can't control what shows up. That is up to the advertising company they go through.

Please understand that a site with possible nudity, they can only have one option on the ads from that company.

It's not like this site is crawling with ads, nor do you yourself have no options where the ads can go.

Notice my ad placement, if I were to see it, is at the top. Not in the middle of the post. The option is towards the end, in the settings.

@jackjjackson Aligns perfectly with my socialist point of views doesn't it. 😉

Capitalism on social media NEEDS to go the most.

Especially if you believe in freedom of speech.

Her post is a extremely good example of why!
Ads and algorithms pay for the internet. I personally use a VPN to avoid as much as possible. Social media is a BUSINESS. @DeWayfarer

The ads are based off your algorithm from pages you've visited. My ads are all for travel, Lexus autos, and investments.

It's simply a reflection of your online activity.

I get travel, aerotech, Coca-Cola and various retail ads all the time on SW.

The ad in question was the thread (in the screen capture) that I had visited.

Why not show a public service ad for an abused woman's shelter?

@beckyromero evidently that was not in the algorithm.

If I wasn't suspended from Reddit again, I'd share that over in r/juxtaposition.

@jackjjackson Not my fault this time. I sent a very polite message to one of the mods of a subreddit where I was banned under false pretenses, asking if we could please talk about it. That was literally it. They muted me for a month and reported me on a rule one violation.
That sucks. I’ve looked at Reddit stuff a few times never write anything. @LordShadowfire
Looks like tonto was wrong yet again 🤣😂🤣
