@ididntknow Well, you might start with open access to a market of more than 500 million consumers. Then there is the 8% loss to UK GDP, following brexit. Loss of inward investment. Loss of domestic investment. Loss of tax revenue for investment in public services and infrastructure. Travel restrictions. Economic stagnation. Poorer international trade deals than were negotiated under the EU, so falling value of exports.
As a nation, we are poorer for not being members of the EU. We are weaker. We have lower standing in the world. We are going to becme one of the US's vassal states, paying protection money to the Trumpian moronocracy to keep our place at the lower end of the table.
Maybe you feel good about that. Maybe that gives you some sense of satisfaction, some sense of importance.
