Jasmine Crockett defaults on her condo HOA, while spending buckets of voter money on limos, luxury hotels

Everything about Rep. Jasmine Crockett—the progressive firebrand who says she’s “seriously weighing” a Senate run against Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn—seems to scream luxury, entitlement, and hypocrisy. And now, thanks to Dallas County records, we know she can’t even keep up with the bills on her own luxury condo, according to Fox News.

While Crockett crisscrosses the country dropping donor cash like confetti on high-end hotels and limousines, her own condo association says she’s been stiffing them for more than a year. A Dallas County lien notice, filed April 11, 2024, shows she owes $3,047.79 to the Westside Condominium Association.

According to the filing, Crockett “is in default in her obligation for payment of assessments and has failed and refused and continues to fail and refuse, despite demand upon her, to pay the Association assessments and related charges properly levied against the Property.”

For a woman who never met a camera she didn’t love, it’s interesting that she didn’t respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. Even more interesting: the Dallas County Clerk’s Office confirms the lien still has not been released.

But don’t worry—Crockett isn’t roughing it. The gated condo community she bought into back in 2014 promises a “refreshing retreat,” “comfort and convenience,” and “spa-like features,” complete with a clubhouse and pool. HOA fees run up to $403 a month—apparently too steep for a member of Congress who can afford five-star resorts.

Crockett, who represents Texas’ 30th District yet seems allergic to actually staying there, racked up close to $75,000 in donor-funded expenses for luxury hotels, limos, and security across Martha’s Vineyard, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.

Her filings show $25,748.87 spent since January on ritzy hotels and limousines alone. Highlights include:

$4,175.01 at the Ritz-Carlton

$2,304.79 at The Luxury Collection

$5,326.52 at the West Hollywood Edition

$2,703.14 at the Edgartown Inn (Martha’s Vineyard)

$3,160.93 at The Coco (Martha’s Vineyard)

Over $2,000 at Vegas’ Cosmopolitan and Aria resorts

Limo services? Of course. Her campaign cut checks for:

$2,728.00 to Transportation 4 U

$2,310.30 to DCA Car LLC

$1,254.00 to Bay Area Limousine

While railing in 2021 that the “Defund movement” is about “healing,” being “smart on crime,” and being “fiscally responsible,” Crockett’s campaign somehow managed to burn nearly $50,000 on security this year alone.

Apparently, fiscal responsibility is for someone else.

Crockett’s year of self-inflicted political wounds doesn’t stop at unpaid bills and donor-funded luxury getaways.

In one of her most shocking moments, she took aim at Texas Gov. Greg Abbott—who uses a wheelchair—mocking him as “Governor Hot Wheels.” Even some Democrats cringed.

A longtime Democratic strategist even admitted to Fox News Digital: “The more we learn about Jasmine Crockett, the more clear it is that she’s the worst possible candidate to run for Senate in Texas… she’s just not ready for primetime.”

Yet Crockett is expected to announce her Senate decision on Dec. 8, apparently believing Texans want to reward her with a promotion.
