@Reason10 NOPE. After 9/11, Congress' 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) empowered the President to use "all necessary and appropriate force" against those who planned, authorized, or committed the attacks, or harbored such individuals or organizations.
That AUMF enabled these missions you're whining about.

@SW-User You can argue that the original authorization after 9.11 should have been renewed, or more done, but that’s about it. You can’t argue the AUMF did not exist or how it was used.
