@FoxyGoddess it seems pretty obvious that the leaders of those theocracies have no worries of Gods vengeance. Nor do the people who support it (actively or passively).

@Tastyfrzz I've watched quite a few documentaries on Christian Nationalism and while I'd like to blame to followers, it is the leaders of these churches that are to blame. They have performed the cultish bait and switch on their followers, turning them deliberately away from god and towards politics using fear of demons, hell and damnation. I can only hope their god is as forgiving as they believe, but the word is pretty strong: you are responsible for your own salvation. Of course, that also just means to believe jesus is the son of god. The rest doesn't matter.

Having a theocracy without equality for everyone, regardless of religion, would already be illegal, except that Israel USA don't allow laws.
