But that doesn't fit a cold war movie script.
There also has been multiple versions of the so called 28 point plan floating around since day one so there is not even evidence of which was authentic.
But it doesn't matter. There is no way it came from Russia because it was immediately denounced by Russia and would have required violating Russian law to implement so it doesn't even make sense on basic logic.
All of this is so much copium because it is an American document that for the first time starts to at least acknowledge the reality on the ground.
The bottom line is Trump and co desperate want a settlement because they don't want the humiliation on their record like the fall of Saigon or the fall of Kabul.
