sir keir starmer, Brithsh primie minster, disappoints me, why cant he be socialist?

why cant starmer do things for the poor, and screw the rich, thats his job, but no, boring is too good a word for him, i vote labour and always will, but cant we have a better leader,or at least a socialist one, his careful style is like a european, much to dull

Because if he was an extrovert socialist he would probably be leading in opposition now, as Jeremy Corbyn did before him.

Careful, boring European . . actually I think that was something many people were hoping for after the Johnson-Truss farce.
@SunshineGirl boringi dont mind, but do some things for the poor. even if tiny things, like raise the tax threshold,

@SunshineGirl What about free school meals for children, and free school uniforms. So the money actually goes on the children.
@peterlee yes or get rid of uniforms, thats would help the poor, in us anobody wears a unirform to school except some private schools

@jefferson Children still need to wear clothes, which still cost money. By having a single standard it is easier to target help to poorer families (through bulk buying or school swap shops) without stigmatising individual children.

@peterlee Free meals are widely available for families on universal credit. I don't think abolishing a school uniform would be much help (see above).
