Jeffrey Epstein announces donation to Jasmine Crockett
In one of the more shameless displays of partisan hackery on Capitol Hill, a rising star of the Democratic Party had attempted to redirect actual ties between a peer and the late convicted sex offender with a whataboutism alleging similar associations on the right. After the facts showed her team’s attempted gotcha had singled out the wrong Jeffrey Epstein, that man joined Fox News’s Sean Hannity to reveal a gotcha of his own via a donation to her campaign.
Friday, Long Island neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Epstein appeared on “Hannity,” where he discussed the “week of disaster” he’d had after Crockett had named his donations to the likes of former New York congressman, onetime gubernatorial candidate and current Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin as though he were the financier.
During the segment where he’d expressed his frustration that he could not sue the congresswoman for her insinuation because the law protects all statements made by members of Congress from the floor of the House and Senate, Epstein explained the way he’d turn Crockett’s word game against her and detailed, “Let the record show that, if you look in the filings, you’ll also see that Jasmine Crockett took money from Jeffrey Epstein.”
