SatanBurger It's transactional for sure on both of their parts. I think they do have genuine areas of commonality though:
1. Mandami wants to have (local) government owned grocery stores for low income households that sells groceries ("an old-fashioned word") at cost. The US military has been doing this same thing for military members for decades that they call "commissaries." In addition Pedophile Defender Cry-Baby-trump has the government taking ownership stakes in several private companies and industries (microchips, mining, steel so far).
2. Mandami wants the (local government) to take a more active role in managing and controlling the economy. Pedophile Defender Cry-Baby-trump is essentially trying to do this (illegally) with tariffs.
3. Mandami wants to cut regulations to build affordable housing faster. Pedophile Defender Cry-Baby-trump is all about cutting regulations regardless of the consequences.
Clearly, Mandami acted strategically (as most international leaders have learned to do) by using flattery, puffery, and a somewhat subservient tone to keep Pedophile Defender Cry-Baby-trump in a purring mood. It's a model that continues to work.
Mandami has Pedophile Defender Cry-Baby-trump literally eating out of his hands. And that's good for New York City, bad for Elise Stefanik, and a proven best way to manage someone with dementia. Now, where does that leave "the base..." and Mike Johnson?
