Hakeem Jeffries’ Firm Solicited Jeffrey Epstein After 2013 Conviction

“We are thrilled to announce that we are working with Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, one of the rising stars in the New York Congressional delegation. Sometimes referred to as ‘Brooklyn’s Barack’, he is a staunch supporter of President Obama and a progressive voice for the people of New York City.”

“Shoot us an email or give us a call … if you would like to get involved with the dinner, or would like to get an opportunity to get to know Hakeem better,” representatives of the firm wrote. “He is an impressive guy and who will be a progressive voice for New York politics for years to come.”

The man being sold in that gushing email, pitched as a can’t-miss political investment, was none other than current House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. And the recipient? The infamous, disgraced, and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

And let’s get one thing straight about the timeline. This solicitation wasn’t made in some bygone era before Epstein’s monstrous crimes were known. The email was sent in 2013, a full five years after Epstein pleaded guilty to procuring an underage girl for prostitution and was registered as a sex offender. His depravity was a matter of public record.

For anyone with a functioning moral compass, association with such a figure would be unthinkable. Yet, for Jeffries’ camp, the prospect of cashing a check from a predator was apparently an acceptable cost of doing business. The audacity is almost impressive. The email’s language, praising Jeffries as “Brooklyn’s Barack,” reveals the cynical nature of the game. They weren’t just asking for money; they were selling access to a so-called “progressive voice,” using the language of hope to court a man who preyed on the vulnerable.

What makes this revelation all the more galling is Jeffries’ recent public posturing. In the past few days, he has been on a media tour, sanctimoniously demanding the release of all files related to Epstein and his network. He has presented himself as a champion of transparency, a crusader for justice.

Does this man have no shame? How can a politician who allowed his own team to solicit a convicted child sex offender possibly lecture anyone on accountability? This is the very definition of liberal hypocrisy. He wants transparency for everyone but himself. The American people are now left with some serious questions. Did Epstein ever respond? Did his tainted money ever find its way into Hakeem Jeffries’ campaign? As the GOP Oversight Committee rightly asked, “Is ‘Brooklyn’s Barack’ telling us everything he knows?”

And if you think this is just a one-off mistake, you haven’t been paying attention. This is straight from the Democrat playbook. As the Oversight Committee also pointed out, Jeffries has refused to condemn his Democratic colleague, Del. Stacey Plaskett, for her own questionable communications with Epstein. They circle the wagons to protect their own, no matter the offense.

Yay! Now do one about Donald Trump.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ItsMeMorgue Where you been the last 10 years?
ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
@sunsporter1649 Mostly just watching him refuse to release the files and speculating about how many times he's in them.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ItsMeMorgue You have the memory of a goldfish
ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
@sunsporter1649 Oh, he released them? How many years ago? Was it during his first term?

@3Dogmatic
you do realize that the Biden presidency has 4 years to throw down some damning evidence on Trump right?
And before that, the list was in the hands of the Trump administration during his first term.

His entire first term.

So why didn't he release them?
3Dogmatic · 46-50
@ItsMeMorgue you missed the point entirely. It was in the hands of the DOJ, and when Biden was in the DOJ got fully weaponized. Again, I ask you WHY didnt they release it IF Trump was on the list? WHY? Quit dodging and answer the question.
ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
@3Dogmatic I don't remember the doj being fully weaponized under Biden. I remember you people claiming it was because they were investigating the numerous charges against Trump, to the tune of 34 felonies, but I don't remember there being any evidence of Biden weaponizing the DOJ. I've definitely seen signs of Trump weaponizing it, although I'm sure you would deny it. I've also watched as he weaponizes Homeland Security, but you're okay with that because he's only weaponizing it against those nasty evil brown people and the attorneys who have the audacity to represent them.

In answer to your question, why didn't the Biden administration release the files? Who knows? Probably for the same reason the Trump administration took so long to release them. Somebody was in those files that he didn't want to get in trouble. Is it Joe? Bill Clinton? Who knows? Maybe we'll find out. But what I know is that Trump doesn't want people seeing that list, either, which makes me want to see it even more.

@3Dogmatic I think you're forgetting how many felonies Trump actually committed.

@sunsporter1649 What are you?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@sunsporter1649 Guilty of 34 felonies

@ItsMeMorgue “felonies” that would be misdemeanors even to NYC except the “special” prosecutor upgraded them to felonies and they subsequently got overturned. That is weponization.
@3Dogmatic says
... and they subsequently got overturned.
WRONG !!!
tRump's 34 felony convictions, decided unanimously by a jury of 12, were NOT overturned. In fact, he just filed his appeal less than a month ago, which means that as of this date, tRump's felony convictions still stand.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-files-powerhouse-appeal-politically-charged-manhattan-district-attorney-case

tRump's falsification of business records crime didn't stand alone; it was in furtherance of other crimes, and that elevated his 34 falsifications to felonies.

UPDATE

Here ya go sunstroke! One statue of limitations, coming up
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M

ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
@sunsporter1649 I'd explain it to you, but you can't even spell intelligence, so I doubt you have much.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ItsMeMorgue and dat from someone dat does not now the difference between boys and girls
@sunsporter1649 Women have XX chromosomes; men have XY; people with XXY don't fit in either category. Likewise hermaphroditic phenotypes.
