Number you left out:
I wouldn't put any of these in the "deformed" category. Just traditional, but yet Republicans (some more conservative than others). Here's a dozen and a half.
Robert Dole
Pete Wilson
Jack Kemp
Colin Powell
Richard Lugar
Mitch McConnell
Paul Laxalt
Condoleezza Rice
Casper Weinberger
John Lehman
Phil Gramm
Warren Rudman
Orrin Hatch
James Baker
Karl Rove
Lee Atwater
Robert Gates
Trent Lott

@beckyromero So I‘ve considered many of these names but I just picked my personal favorites. Baker, Gates, Rice, and Dole were simply too dovish for my taste. But they‘re all serious, thoughtful, intelligent statesmen and women who may not be completely in alignment with me on a number of issues but who have, nevertheless, been valuable traditional pre-Trump Republicans.
Could you maybe add some names for the insidious column if you can come up with some more? I might’ve left out a few bad eggs.
