Trump Vows to "Primary" MTG.

President Trump late Friday announced he is pulling his endorsement and support of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and would support a primary challenge against her — a major escalation of their growing beef after months of the House Republican criticizing fellow GOP members and the commander in chief himself.

“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, adding that despite his record, “all I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”

Trump in the post called Greene a “ranting lunatic” and that she has “gone Far Left.”

Will Boebert be next?

The thing is if Trump himself ran against MTG in a primary in her House district he'd probably get his ass kicked at this point.

Instead of him complaining about "Russia, Russia, Russia," it would be "Epstein, Epstein, Esptein."

The Democrats tried to use Epstein against Trump but floundered about until a small handful of determined right-wing Republicans picked up the loose ball and ran with it to the end zone and Greene SPIKED it in Trump's face.

He will not be successful. I lived worked and retired in her Congressional district. After my wife retired we left the state. That was just before she was elected to her first term.

There is one thing I know about that district though. She has a cult following of her own and she will be elected again if she chooses to run. Sad but I'm afraid it's true.

@MoveAlong I’m not from there but very familiar with her district and of course you are absolutely spot on. 👍

@CedricH

I edited my above comment for clarity.

@beckyromero Thanks for the clarification. Well, I think you‘re right, but my point is that the dissent and fissures within the authoritarian‘s party wouldn’t just neatly go away by removing MTG. Her being expelled from the ranks could actually deepen pre-existing fault lines.
