How much did the MAGA government shutdown contribute?

At least 9 killed, others injured after a UPS plane crashes near the Louisville airport.

When a Party controls all three branches of our government and refuses to negotiate, you have to ask that question!

I just reviewed some 'live' video from ABC News and it can be clearly seen that the left engine was on fire before the aircraft even lifted off from the runway, so this had nothing whatsoever to do with any government shutdown.

You are not understanding anything I've previously posted here. The airplane was on fire before it left the ground and after it had already been cleared for takeoff, none of which has anything to do with government, even if there was nobody on duty inside the Control Tower!

Why are you trying to jam a round peg into a square hole on this issue?
@swirlie Because, as you say, the plane was on fire when you say.

Because this government shutdown affects everything about that plane—including while it was on the ground even before it was ever started.

Manpower over every aspect of that airplane since the shutdown started has been affected by the shutdown!

Ah, no... this government shutdown did not have any effect on that plane! You want it to be so, but it simply isn't so!

You have to remember that aircraft maintenance technicians are NOT government employees and therefore are not in layoff mode!

You also have to remember that the USA does not revolve around the US government being open for business or not!

It's the Democrats that keep voting against ending the shut down. It belongs to them exclusively
@justbob Wrong! Let me explain this to you in terms that might be simple enough for you to understand —no guarantee that I can dumb it down enough for you, though…

…when one party (even one comprised of primarily incompetent politicians and low IQ voters) controls both the House and the Senate and has their guy in the Oval Office it is incumbent upon them to negotiate with the other party to negotiate.
