Chicago Educators Call for Violence Against ICE, Mock Kirk Assassination
Videos on social media highlighted the disgusting behavior of two members of Chicago’s education system during the city’s No Kings protests. Videos show an alleged elementary school teacher mocking the assassination of Charlie Kirk. A Chicago college administrator could be facing criminal charges for inciting violence, calling for the shooting of immigration enforcement agents and officers…
“ICE agents gotta get shot and wiped out… You gotta grab a gun! We gotta turn around the guns on this fascist system!”
Think that’s some fringe lunatic in a basement? Think again. These were the words screamed by Moises Bernal, an Adult Education Manager at a Chicago college, during the recent anti-Trump “No Kings” protests. The very people paid by taxpayers to educate are now demanding the execution of federal officers. This is the unvarnished, violent soul of the modern Left, and it’s thriving in our schools.
And just when you think the barrel has been scraped, you meet Lucy Martinez. She’s an elementary school teacher in Chicago, and she was caught on camera gleefully mocking the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk. As a truck displaying a memorial flag drove by, Martinez grinned and pantomimed shooting herself in the neck, mouthing the word “bang.” It’s a level of ghoulishness that’s hard to comprehend.
When the videos went viral, her principal’s response was a masterclass in cowardice. Instead of condemning this vile behavior, Principal Dawn Iles-Gomez claimed her teacher was simply “provoked” by the sight of a memorial flag. She dismissed the grotesque display as a “moment of emotion” and assured everyone the matter was “addressed internally.” In other words, nothing to see here. Move along.
Don’t let anyone tell you these were “isolated incidents.” That’s the lie they always tell. The Chicago events were just one part of the nationwide “No Kings” protests, which served as a national stage for the Left’s violent fantasies. In D.C., a protester proudly told a reporter she was “glad” Kirk was dead, comparing him to Hitler. Signs at other rallies showed President Trump’s face in crosshairs, captioned, “WANTED: BETTER SNIPERS.”
In Seattle, it got even more direct. A man told a journalist he’d kill White House official Stephen Miller if he got the chance. Another protester quickly chimed in that such an act would be “justifiable.” The organizers can claim a “commitment to nonviolent action” all they want on their website, but the reality on the ground is a movement seething with homicidal rage.
So, where were the so-called “leaders” of the Democratic Party while all this was happening? Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the mob, of course, soaking in the applause. The list of attendees is a who’s who of the party establishment: Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, and countless others. They lent their names and their presence to these events, giving a tacit endorsement to the ugliest fringes of their base.
