@sree251 It depends how you define "woke." Yes, he did bully several universities and media outlets into dropping DEI, but the ones that pushed back aren't experiencing any consequences because TACO. Trump's most effective accomplishments so far have been the brutal ICE raids (mostly due to Stephen Miller), and the Israel-Gaza 20 Point Peace Plan. That last was mostly put together under the Biden administration, although this is one case where Trump's lack of nuance and bullying tactics worked where a different approach might have failed. Trump is very popular in Israel, more so than Netanyahu, and when Trump prematurely announced Bibi's support for the plan, Bibi had no choice but to go along with it. Trump also had no problem arm-twisting the Qataris to pressure Hamas into accepting the plan, both by guaranteeing that Israel wouldn't bomb them again, and by giving Qatar, a client state of Iran and major sponsor of terror worldwide, the first foreign military base on US soil.

You're going to be waiting a while for the "next white hope." It won't be JD Vance, a Peter Thiel puppet who is only popular because he's Trump's VP. Vance will be facing real politicians in 2028, like Brian Kemp, Glenn Youngkin, and Chris Sununu, any one of whom could tear him to shreds. If the republic survives that long, I'm looking forward to the GOP abandoning Trumpism for actual conservatism, not that I support that either.
