@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I admit I had to look up what collective shout was lol but I didn't like what I see. I'm not really saying that porn doesn't cause damage but I kinda feel like it's that way with everything. Wherever the solution lies in, doesn't lay in taking adult games off steam. I agree there is something with people taking it out of control but i feel like the solution of just banning things is so overly simplistic.

@SatanBurger Collective Shout is run by an evangelical extremist who created the organization to masquerade as feminist to enlist support from people who won't do any due diligence on these groups but just join a cause at face value. And porn is just the most public victims of this. But creators getting hit the worst are Japanese anime because apparently female characters with an actual Japanese body type is apparently "coded as a minor" now and LGBTQ games are getting declared porn by default. It is also exclusively indie creators who can't fight back that are getting hammered. For example nobody is going to go after Cyberpunk 2077 or GTA because they have massive corporations behind them.


That also might actually make it illegal because their TOS enforcement is arbitrary.

And the claims they are making about porn are literally the same debunked "violence in video games makes you violent" claims from the 90s that also resulted in the current rating systems. But that is another conversation.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow There needs to be more laws against these groups, they shouldn't have as much power. That's why I always love it when Evangelicals claim discrimination when they make all the laws.
