Homan grins, “Just picked up my $50,000 payment.”

Bartender asks, “For what?”
Homan replies, “Cleaning up America from illegals.”

Bartender chuckles, “So you’re done for the day?”
Homan takes a sip and says, “Nope taking a 10 minute break then to clear out the ones drinking under fake IDs.”

Ten minutes later he walks out again bar’s empty, tip jar’s full, and the bartender’s applying for citizenship.

Good thing jokes doesn't have to be even close to truth. Still doesn't mean you won't have to work on your material, and you might make it one day. Your laughing emojis do tell a story tho, and that's admitting you know it wasn't anyway close to what the recording would show.

Btw, you should update your story with the name for the person you're too afraid to name by name, and prefer to muslim to call the approval of all your anti-democratic friends. The name is Zohran Mamdani, just for the records. Still doesn't make it a notable joke.
