Do you identify particularly as a republican or as a democrat?

It seems most people in the United States don't feel that they strongly match either of the two parties.

Democrat, so I can vote in primary elections. But i'm much more in the Bernie Sanders camp.

@BlueMetalChick: Yes. 'Soft-core Socialist' is a good term. It fits me. It's difficult for me to see the poverty and anguish here in our wonderful country. And I believe the Federal Government should play a large role in alleviating social problems.
