Do the honorable thing. Resign. Now.

Go work for a legal aid foundation. Or for your state's Justice Dept. Or go into private practice.

Don't be like a Nazi judge in the 1930s (sentencing people they knew were innocent) - and prosecute people you know to be innocent.

Technically, they ALL are.

But I am disguishing between the 94 presidential-appointed U.S. Attorneys

who can be fired at will by the president...

...and the assistants in those offices who have federal civil service protection. It is the latter who should do the honorable thing and resign. Those offices cannot function without them. The only thing then that Trump can try would be to attempt to replace them with incompetent MAGAs.

And any U.S. Attorneys for the districts that have a conscience should resign, too.
