Oregon Sues to Block Trump’s National Guard Deployment from Protecting Portland ICE Facilities

This is the new playbook for progressive leadership, an upside-down world where weakness is “compassion” and letting criminals run wild is “tolerance.” In their bizarre reality, the true enemy isn’t the anarchist throwing a brick through a window, but the strong leader willing to step in and restore peace. They would rather preside over rubble—and call it progress—than admit their policies are a catastrophic failure.

Oregon sued the Trump administration late Sunday seeking to block President Donald Trump’s order to deploy 200 National Guard troops to the city of Portland to protect federal buildings…

“There is no insurrection or threat to public safety that necessitates military intervention in Portland or any other city in our state.” She emphasized that deploying the National Guard on Oregon streets is “an abuse of power and a disservice to our communities and our service members.”

This is the astonishing justification from Oregon Governor Tina Kotek as her administration sues to block President Donald Trump from restoring order. Along with the state’s attorney general, who absurdly claims “Oregon communities are stable,” these officials have taken the truly unbelievable step of using the courts to stop the federal government from protecting its own property. You can’t make this stuff up.

“Stable communities”? Has Governor Kotek actually looked out her window lately? While she recites pleasant fictions, President Trump is responding to the grim reality on the ground. He didn’t deploy the National Guard on a whim; he acted to defend a city he rightly called “war-ravaged” and to protect federal ICE facilities that are, in his words, “under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists.” This isn’t federal overreach. It’s a necessary response to a state-level abdication of duty.

The President’s order was a direct answer to the lawlessness that local officials have allowed to fester for years. Attorney General Pam Bondi has even been forced to activate Joint Terrorism Task Forces to investigate these radical groups. Yet, in the face of this clear and present threat, Oregon’s leaders have the audacity to claim there is “no threat to public safety.” It begs the question: Whose safety are they actually concerned with? It certainly isn’t the law-abiding citizens or the federal officers in the line of fire.

The conservative fan fiction:

@AuRevoir How much conservative fan fiction did you have to consume before your brain went to mulch?

@Kwek00 My evidence? I'm just reading what you said:

Their policies are bad. They are supporting anarchist that are destroying their own cities. Inciting violence and civil unrest. To the point the government feels the need to step in and protect the lawful abiding citizens who are tired of suffering under ACTUAL TYRANNICAL rule of governors and mayors that think they can allow mass crime to take root in the country.

When did this happen? ... evidence?

The side that had over 260+ federal agents acting on the Jan 6’th debacle, shouting about insurrection and blaming the other side when they’ve now been revealed to be the ones behind it all.

🙄 ...

But hey... what ever man, don't break your compost over it, espescially in this season when the shrooms start clogging up your ears.

I'm not sure about you, when it comes to my last comment. But I'm pretty sure that the guy that gave you 2 thumbs up on your comment has the autistic tendency on going: "we are not a democracy, we are a republic"... but that person also agrees with this:

He was duly elected and he’s acting exactly as we voted for.

So yeah... but again, don't worry, the mulch upstairs wouldn't be able to make sense of any of this anyway.

@Kwek00 What do you call the terrorism that’s been going on by the terrorist group known as Antifa?

What do you call the “protests” that don’t align with the constitutional right of “peaceful assembly” and instead hurl bricks, burn vehicles and buildings? 🙄 Do you have some other definition for it? Because pretty sure none of that qualifies under peaceful assembly.

We are a republic. “I pledge allegiance, to the flag, and the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC, for which it stands, one nation, UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty, and justice, for all.” 🙄 We don’t pledge allegiance to a democracy.

You can’t even make a logical argument.

Here’s an easy to digest breakdown that someone as utterly moronic as even YOU should be able to understand, on the differences between “Democracy” as a GOVERNMENT. And a REPUBLIC as a government.

In other words, you’re not pointing out a “contradiction” like you probably believe your “gotcha” moment implies. Instead, you’re only proving how brazenly foolish and ignorant you are of the law and its structure within the moralities tied to the very foundation of our nation.

🙄 Read an actual history book dipshit. You make it too easy to point out your idiocy.

@AuRevoir The terrorist group called Antifa? What's that? ... Can you point me to an organised group with that name that does terrorism? And what kind of terrorism are these people involved in? ... and how are they linked to the democratic party... don't forget that part, because that's pretty much what you are saying. Does Antifa also have to stand down and stand by? Because I've heared someone else give that order, but it wasn't a democrat.

The protests that don't align with "peacefull assembly" are criminal. That's pretty much the stance of the democratic party too. But feel free to pick a cherry if you can.

We are a republic. “I pledge allegiance, to the flag, and the United States of America, and to the REPUBLIC, for which it stands, one nation, UNDER GOD, indivisible, with liberty, and justice, for all.” 🙄 We don’t pledge allegiance to a democracy.

Oh, you are autistic too... I guess you don't have a dog, you have a labrador. Got it.

Funny thing though... the moment people start criticizing the overreach of the executive branch, it becomes: "but we vote for this"... suddenly the constitution isn't important but the majority vote is. But hey, you are living in a republic... what ever that means I guess.

When it comes to "logic", I would not use that word to much if I were you... you are ridiculous enough, and you don't have to make it worst.

Wow... it's not bad enough that Conservatives have to fight their own delusional strawman all the time, you actually have to point at a video of someone doing it in real time to make your point.... You probably believe that "God's not dead" is a great movie, where a christian writer sets up a debate between his representation of an atheist vs actual christians. That's the trick conservative media plays 24 hours long, that's why your head is filled with compost now. You can't even interact with the real world, because you are living in the MAGA-verse.

There is a contradiction though... Voting for a president, doesn't give him the rights to do what ever he wants. There is a constitution he needs to abide by... but the current guy in the white house doesn't even know (by his own admission) if he needs to uphold that constitution. Apperently, he also doesn't know if the executive branch needs to execute what the legeslative branch decided. Sadly though, because the legeslative branch is ruled by people that worship the orange calf, nothing is done about it. What you call your "republic", with checks and balances, has been broken by the current itteration of the republican party. But people like yourself are still dressing themselves up in the "aestetic". It's really important to label yourself things like: a republic, law-abiding citizens, the party of Lincoln, etc... . But apperently it's not important to live up to those standards. The reverse btw, is also true... when people call out the fascistic tendencies inside the republican party today, it becomes a form of offense. However, the party itself makes no effort to not be fascistic. From stealing lines of NAZI speeches, to implementing NAZI imagery in their propaganda... all of this is just fine, but you can't call them out for it. Neither can you call them out for their authoritarian tendencies while they whipe their asses with the constitution and undermine the legeslative and judicial branch of governement. You can't call them out for their militairism, you can't call them out for the state actively mingling with corporations, you can't call them out when they divide the country in producers and parasites, you can't call them out on their xenophobic behavior, you can't call them out on their close ties with armed militias, you can't call them out on undermining the democratic process, etc... because all of that offends the people that are high on self flattery but are too lazy to live in the way that they portray themselves.

Lol, you have no idea how much irony there is telling me to read an actual history book.

@AuRevoir This is exactly why it's not worth having a conversation with you... you don't live in reality. You are lost and nothing you say will matter.

I see a responds, but I don't see any evidence for that "terrorist group" you are talking about.
I see a responds, but no evidence of anything you claim the democratic party to be.
I see a responds... and yet another tiktok movie... some great sources there.

I see a responds... AND a snowflake that is melting in the sun.

don’t bother replying, don’t bother reading my posts, any attempt at contact will be viewed as harassment and will be treated as such. Though I know that’s difficult for your kind. Because you all have the temperament of raging bulls that don’t know how to leave people alone even when they ask you
.

😅😅😅 Makes you wonder who started the conversation in the first place... Now, learn something from your username... "au revoir".
