if you're pregnant. obviously, something is causing it... why do you doubt that tylenol could be one culprit? and it's not the president who made that determination, it was the FDA.
wishforthenight · M
@boudinMan Why do I doubt it? Because there's no evidence. Autism is not caused by taking Tylenol during pregnancy.
Scientists think autism happens because of genes (what we inherit from our parents) and how the brain grows before birth.
Medicines like Tylenol don’t make a child autistic. It’s just the way some brains are naturally wired from the start. In fact, if pregnant women don't take Tylenol to relieve symptoms of fever, it can be far worse for the developing fetus.
This is nothing more than another distraction by Trump to keep Epstein out of the news cycle.

@wishforthenight and do you have evidence of THAT?
wishforthenight · M
@boudinMan Deflection noted. Yes. The evidence is the fact that he's making these assumptions with no evidence. That's evidence enough.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@wishforthenight got it... nothing but accusations. well done.
wishforthenight · M
@boudinMan Got it. Nothing but deflections from you. There is no evidence linking Tylenol and autism. Fact.

@boudinMan The FDA said doctors should consider limiting the use of Tylenol, while also taking into account that it is the safest over-the-counter option to treat fever and pain in pregnant women, which can also harm maternal and fetal health.
"To be clear, while an association between acetaminophen and autism has been described in many studies, a causal relationship has not been established and there are contrary studies in the scientific literature," said an FDA spokesperson (BBC, 23 September 2025).
Only Trump made this unproven link and stated that doctors will soon be advised not to prescribe this drug to pregnant women.

@boudinMan As @SunshineGirl has just stated..

@wishforthenight
“The FDA is taking action to make parents and doctors aware of a considerable body of evidence about potential risks associated with acetaminophen,” said FDA Commissioner Marty Makary, M.D., M.P.H.

@boudinMan Which is rather different to the message given by Trump . .
wishforthenight · M
@boudinMan And yet, in that very same article, it also says exactly what @SunshineGirl wrote. You're cherry picking.
