@demthebrakes Even if you didn't and you are just entering the stage now, it's even more apparent because you aren't biased by previous knowledge and can make direct correlations easier.
Sometimes I wonder if all the shows on Hitler and the Nazis on the "History Channel" helped fuel this lack of concern for fascism since they didn't focus on the horrors, but "the stolen gold", the "hidden bunkers" and various other things that seemed to me to be watering down the actual horribleness of the Nazi regime. In a way, it seemed to glorify it as the Nazis were so rich and powerful.
