There's a lot the regular people, even those registered to different parties agree on. Which is a different set of things from what the politicians from each side tend to agree on. The divide between powerful and powerless tends to be larger than the divide between red and blue. But there's a lot of money invested in making people think the divisions are entirely red and blue. Because the powerful have a lot to lose if the powerless actually decided to join together.

@ViciDraco the two parties agree on that. They share a select set of donors whom they serve, in the ownership caste and use the state to battle and enslave the masses for the ownership caste.
