Mainstream Media Bias On Full Display Following Assassination of Charlie Kirk

Legacy media outlets are drawing fire for their slanted coverage of the murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk yesterday at an event on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

Kirk’s assassination in front of a audience of thousands, brought out some of the clearest and most outrageous examples of mainstream media spin and bia to date.

The New York Times played up Kirk’s conservative values while downplaying the political violence of him being shot dead on stage, with the headline “Charlie Kirk, Right-Wing Force and a Close Trump Ally, Dies at 31.”

Mario Nawfal, in a post on X, called out the NY Times bias, writing, “This wasn’t a car crash or a health condition – it was a public execution of a high-profile conservative in America.”

Meanwhile, MSNBC’s Matthew Dowd suggested that the shooting may have been the result of “a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration” and then went on to suggest that Kirk may have brought the deadly violence on himself, describing him as “one of the most especially divisive younger figures.”

Dowd went on to claim that Kirk was “constantly pushing this sort of hate speech, sort of aimed at certain groups” and suggested that “hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions.”

MSNBC later fired Dowd, with MSNBC President Rebeka Kutler denouncing the political analyst’s comments as “inappropriate, insensitive and unacceptable.”

Kutler added, “We apologize for his statements, as has he. There is no place for violence in America, political or otherwise.”

Entertainment website TMZ also faced criticism over background cheering and applause captured on mic as Kirk’s death was announced.

Anyone who has been wondering whether the legacy media can be trusted to set their biases aside to report the facts, now knows for certain where they stand.

There's no media biased here. You reap what you sow. And if you hate God you got some serious problems my friend. ☺
@Zonuss Nice try. Yes God is sovereign but Proverbs 8:36- "but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death."
@Zonuss Kirk was 'disrespectful' of other victims of political violence; why should he expect his death to be respected?

@ElwoodBlues Rep. Jasmine Crockett referred to Kayla Hamilton, who was killed by an illegal migrant, as a ‘random dead person’ during a fiery Judiciary debate.

California Rep. Adam Schiff dismissed the president’s speech entirely, declining to comment on the lack of applause for Riley's mother.
"There was nothing the president had to say that was either factual or truthful," Schiff said.

“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up,” Waters told a crowd in California over the weekend. “If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Harris added, "It is clear from John Kelly's words that Donald Trump is someone who I quote 'certainly falls into the general definition of fascist.'

“Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo is scooping folks up off the streets,” Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee last fall.

MSNBC used Nazi rally clips during its coverage of former President Donald Trump’s historic campaign event at Madison Square Garden in a desperate last-ditch bid to frighten voters into supporting the floundering Democratic ticket.

“Donald Trump is America’s Hitler,” Swalwell said as his first sentence upon taking the mic at the D.C. “No Kings” protest event.

Just last Monday, President Biden himself said it’s “time to put Trump in a bullseye”

NY Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman made remarks last November in an MSNBC interview with former White House press secretary Jen Psaki, saying Trump should be “eliminated” over his alleged role in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

The official Biden-Harris HQ account also made a post on X in December with the heading “Trump Parrots Hitler” featuring a series of images of Trump and Hitler’s faces juxtaposed with quotes from each, which the campaign alleged were similar.

In March, Rep. Vincente Gonzalez (D-Texas), was the target of strong criticism from Republicans after he compared Trump supporters of Hispanic origin to Jews supporting Hitler.

Trump’s 2016 rival Hillary Clinton threw a few shovelfuls of coal into the fear machine during an appearance on “The View” last November, when she warned a 2024 Trump victory “would be the end of our country as we know it.”

In June of 2019, NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez drew widespread scorn for her careless language when she accused the Trump administration of running “concentration camps” on the US-Mexico border.
@sunsporter1649 Wow, that's some heavy duty cherry-picking you did there! When does your fruit stand open??

@ElwoodBlues And 10 years of calling the right nazis, pedophiles, gestapo, climate deniers, and deploriables is just normal political discourse, right....

@BritishFailedAesthetic There is no nice try. I said what i said, and most people agree. Spread hate and deal with the consequences.
You reap what you sow. There is no escape,

@ElwoodBlues Exact;y/ These airheads think they are exempt from karma, and are invincible.
But they are about to see what happens when you disrespect humanity.
