DeWayfarer Do you ever see anyone on SW (except maybe @
Roundandroundwego when that poster is in the usual bash-USA rant) who criticizes the U.S. and sticks up for Russia, China, etc., ever say they would PREFER to live in Russia, China, Afghanistan, North Korea or Iran than in the United States?
Why is that?
Why isn't anyone living in China, North Korea, Iran or Afghanistan posting that they prefer living there than in the United States if given the opportunity? Oh, that's right. They probably can't get SW where they live.
Why didn't these two bozos, James Timothy “Tim” Alicie and Richard Birchfield, MOVE to Russia when Joe Biden was elected?
So, therefore, the question isn't about where your hypothetical MAGA supporter might chose to live or where Rosie O'Donnell has chosen to live.
So for the ones who constantly stick up for Putin and Russia, why don't they want to move there?
We see people here constantly defend or excuse Russia, China, Iran, etc., all the time—but funny how those that do never actually say they’d
prefer to live under those governments instead of the U.S.
That's why I limited the choices in the poll. If I made a buffet of places like Israel, Canada, or Switzerland, it would allow users to would totally dodge the question.
By keeping the list narrow, it forces the real contrast: U.S. freedoms versus the regimes some people here constantly defend.
That’s why there aren’t “tasteful” options.
