When public figures die in Russia, Westerners like to speculate that Putin is behind it. Who is behind deaths of politicians in Germany? Germany is determined to get rid of AfD. AfD wants to get rid of migrants and “make Germany great again.” The liberal German establishment finds this detestable. In May, they declared AfD a “right-wing extremist party.”

Four of the deceased had serious pre-existing health conditions which contributed to their deaths. One died from "natural causes". One committed suicide. The deputy leader of AfD has warned against propagating unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.

Germany is not determined to get rid of AfD. In April a federal intelligence agency sought to add it to a list of proscribed terrorist organisations. That action has been suspended pending an appeal.
