British liberals

Some of my liberal minded friends have turned to the right of centre in the past month or so .
It’s all about ‘ illegal ‘ immigration’.
If government don’t sort it , I fear for the future of the UK

The ‘ flag situation is now out of control . Councils are no longer making any attempt at removing them .

@devonman I am delighted to say that this very morning (Thursday) I have driven into my town centre and all the flags in lamp posts have gone (since yesterday. I don't know who took them down but I am pleased that we have got our town back.

@FreddieUK That’s good . I am depressed to see so many people on the towns fb page congratulating the flag brigade .
Overwhelming support .Probably says more about fb users .

@devonman I don't do FB for that reason. I didn't realise how much it was bringing me down until I saw they'd gone. I imagine that a lot of the social media posts are to impress other people, not wanting to be out of step. You're absolutely right it says more about the users than perhaps you want to think. Hold onto your own principles: I am certainly going to continue challenging publicly as long as I can.
