British liberals

Some of my liberal minded friends have turned to the right of centre in the past month or so .
It’s all about ‘ illegal ‘ immigration’.
If government don’t sort it , I fear for the future of the UK

Hopefully its not too late. The EU might lead the charge to save everyone over there. America boots the libs, closes its borders, starts deporting the illegals, and enforces its laws, and suddenly it is the most prosperous nation with the brightest future . Go figure.

@TexChik I assume you're only able to say this because you haven't actually looked at what's happening in any other country. The most prosperous nation? With all those poor people in tents and with all the people who can't afford healthcare? Just have a look at the Scandinavian countries. I genuinely hope your country has a bright future, but please don't kid yourself that you are in anyway special and different from anyone else.

@FreddieUK I think perhaps it’s you who doesn’t have a clue. The tents have propped up around cities with bad liberal policies. Nationally those policies have dramatically changed. So has the stupid open borders of the left. The vast majority of the people do not support those policies as evidenced by the resurgence of President Trump.

Scandinavian countries have their own immigration related disasters. The US is well on one way to fixing ours. I suggest you consider doing the same. Tex is correct. Our future is brighter than it has been in a very long time.

Our future is brighter than it has been in a very long time.

I'm hoping that you are including everyone who lives in the States in the word 'our'. If you are, then I am sure you have a better chance of achieving that bright future. In the same way, I hope for my own country's future.

@FreddieUK Of course I mean every American. The UK has its own issues and you’re right to be concerned. But I’m not foolish enough to comment about specifics. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for Brits thinking they know all about the US.
