Once again, democrats missed the memo

I feel like the Democrat running for governor in VA has not understood the right thing to campaign on.

She is promising more teachers and better pay, but seems to not be aware that youngkin got in office on strong anti-education policies.

It just seems like a weird angle to try to win on when the state has shown previously it wants to destroy public education.

If she stays on this talking point, she will lose.

I don't know enough about Virginia state politics to know if that's a bad campaign or not, but just hearing a Democrat talk about an actual policy instead of vague statements about "opportunity" or making their entire campaign about not being the other guy sounds like an improvement to me (how low the bar is at this point). I doubt everyone in Virginia is anti-education; it's just the way that's framed by the Republican party can be appealing, especially if it's in an inflammatory "they're indoctrinating your kids" way. It's definitely possible to make a campaign on education about caring for kids and families and communities, and the exact opposite of what someone like Youngkin would do.

I hope she has more than just that one talking point, though.

@HiFiRaver Oh no, she is doing that too. Lol but a larger portion of her ads are policy based
