I’m pretty sure no one wants “free” healthcare…

… I’m pretty sure we all want healthcare paid for by our taxes, which covers everyone, and ensures that everyone can get treatment when they’re sick.

I get healthcare from medicare, and what they don't cover, my employer retirement insurance plan pays, I pay maybe $15 a visit, and it pays all my pills, one script is $19 K a month, yes a month

@oldguy73 I feel so fortunate when I read something like this. My pharmacist bill would see me in an early grave. I'm sure if I had to pay that kind of money.

@oldguy73 Sounds like you're not following the conservative rule about healthcare. 1) Stay healthy. 2) If you can't follow rule #1 than 2 is to die quickly.

@PatKirby no, i have excellus blue cross blue shield, but the real reason iy's very good is because i have retirement insurance from my former employer, it's the best around, no restrictions, my employer has changed the benifits, not good now, but for me, it stays the same as 25 yrs ago, i just got lucky
