Texas Republican Legislators are scared

The reason Texas must pass its undemocratic and unconstitutional gerrymandering maps isn't just because they are authoritarian dictator assholes. It is also because if Texas flips to blue, the Republicans have zero path to the presidency. Their only hope is gerrymandering.

After the horrible laws Texas has enacted under Abbot, without voter approval, and the "Townhalls" that have shown the Republicans are losing favor among their supporters, they are starting to feel desperate. The only way they can win is by cheating through the maps. Otherwise, they know they will lose the entire state.

Their desperate acts have shown they know the voters are unhappy and could quite possibly make them irrelevant on the national scene. If they weren't, we wouldn't be seeing such extremely unlawful and unconstitutional behaviors against the elected democrats of the state.

They are scared of the voters.

Remember that at voting time and turn Texas blue.

As horrible as it is to say this; none of this really matters. No matter who is the president or what party is in power, the total destruction of the global trade system by Trumps tariffs cannot be undone.. America was always seen as a bully in trade and international relations and Trump has pushed almost all other nations to take their ball and go play without him.. And the deals they are doing are better than Americas tilted playing field. Even after trump is gone, there will be few people knocking on the door to resume business. Unless its about military hardware..The $US is not the only currency and while it dont disappear overnight, it has lost its stranglehold on trade.. And with that America lost its spot as the banker in Monopoly..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Oh yeah, no doubt. We are already waist deep in the decline of the nation. I have felt that for a while now. But, I am all for trying to delay so we can find a solution instead of bandaiding like we have been for the last 20 years.
