A few hours after Trump’s nothing burger meeting in Alaska Trump ranted about tariffs on Truth Social. Not tariffs on Russia - tariffs on other countries.
A few hours before the nothing burger meeting Trump was saying that if Putin doesn't agree to a cease fire there would be serious consequences - guess he meant serious consequences for other countries.

Trump believes he and the President of the United States are one and the same person. He has become the role he is filling. He won't be able to give up the role after he leaves office when his term is over.
