I was in HIGH SCHOOL when gasoline was 11 cents a gallon. When I first had to sit in the DemoKKKrat gas lines, it had gotten up to 25 cents a gallon. First car I ever bought ran around $9000. Ford Chateau Clubwagon. I was doing a lot of traveling. Around the mid Seventies.
Oh, and wages were quite a bit LOWER in the days where gasoline was 11 cents a gallon.

@SunshineGirl When Trump has deported the 10m "animals" and there is no discernible effect on the budget deficit (because he has already given away any savings to the rich in tax bungs), he may be coming after you are your pension next . .
NOBODY has given ANYTHING to the rich. When taxes are cut, the rich WIND UP PAYING MORE IN TAXES because it becomes cheaper to pay the tax than it does to pay accountants, move factories, and other headaches DemoKKKrat policies cause.
But Trump DID cut off a major WELFARE TO THE RICH chunk for an entitled corporation.
The Corporation for PUblic Broadcasting is losing its WELFARE. It'll have to compete on cable, like Fox, CNN, ABC, etc.

Considering that tipped employees no longer have to pay taxes on their tips, this shouldn't affect them at all.
I have noticed that the states with the highest state minimum wage laws have the highest taxes and the highest cost of living.

So Waffle House gets off scot free?
You haven't supplied any links showing that Waffle House has violated the minimum wage law.
But if you REALLY want to stick it to Waffle House, then DEPORT those 10 million animals. Then Waffle House will HAVE to base its hourly wage on FREE MARKET forces. If Americans won't do that job for minimum wage and if Waffle House cannot find ILLEGAL ALIENS to do it for $3 an hour, then the wages will have to go up.
Everybody wins. Americans get better jobs and Waffle House gets an all English speaking staff.
(Note to mods: Again, animals describes behavior. We are getting illegal aliens from Central America, Asia, ghetto parts of Europe. Illegal Alien is not a race.)

They certainly do. The store managers who were there, saw the illegals and hired them on the spot with no documentation SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED.
How fcking hard is it for a business to just play by the rules? A job applicant has to pony up IDENTIFICATION, proof of citizenship. I had to provide proof at EVERY job I've ever held.

A nice pre-arranged photo op, as the media was in full attendance as the raid took place.
Immigrants were marched out, cuffed, and loaded into buses and taken away....all to show how tough Trump was on illegal immigrants.

No fine...no closure....no nothing.
The next day the factory was open, business as usual, with replacement workers, all very likely immigrants.
Use your hatred and tell your elected officials to hold companies accountable for hiring illegal workers.
