Trump’s Tax Bill Expands Farm Subsidies. Not All Farmers Will Benefit.

In the high plains of western Texas, 600 or so farms in Gaines County are projected to receive an additional $258 million.

By contrast, along the coast of California, 1,000 farms in Monterey County will collectively receive just $390,000 in additional payments.

Why?

Because Trump focused on "giving" money to Southern farms that grow crops affected by additional tariffs.

Then he can say "hey, look, my tariffs are affecting the bottom line. Nothing to see here."

In addition, funding will be funneled toward agricultural subsidy programs, and large farms, particularly those in the South, are poised to reap the most benefits.

I'm sure the fact that CA has a high number of sanctuary cities and his ongoing slap fight with Newsome is also a part of the issue.

Kings county in CA, where a lot of agriculture is and the highest rates of poverty are, also hold the highest number of trump supporters that he is hanging out to dry.

His petty fights with Newsome is at the expense of his supporters.

@FoxyQueen Kevin McCarthy represented the area. The pedophile Matt Gaetz got him kicked out of his House Speakership position.
