It is to difficult, these days, to call yourself anything connected to a party name.
The Democrats of today are nothing like the JFK area Democrats.
This day and age politics is running mostly off of loyalty to a name.
Trump isn't necessarily a Republican. He actually has more qualities of an independent candidate. He just ran as a Republican to take advantage of the loyalties attached and that would be because the last independent candidate to win a presidency was George Washington. LOL

Why does there need to be a point to everything or this post? (for those who are complaining there isn't one?). I read it as only a personal statement. There doesn't need to be a point if someone is only expressing how they feel about something. Only ones that want to find fault with what he said I believe would make this an issue. (imho)
